This is a 3-day exam preparation workshop by Mr. Yeow Tiang Hui, the Director of Commercial Banking from the Asian Banking School for PB Business Lending candidates who will be sitting for the AICB exam in Nov 2019. There are 11 participants altogether and they are from State Bank of India, Habib Bank Limited, Bank of Ceylon & Bank of Maldives Plc. Module Description:

This module provides candidates with an understanding of the key issues involved in business lending. It analyses the risks involved in lending to businesses how banks manage these risks. Candidates gain an understanding of the business lending process, from assessing a credit application through to pricing, issuing a product and ensuring appropriate security. Loan and portfolio monitoring programmes, strategies to deal with defaulting loans and the Basel Accord are also covered.
