The Asian Banking School (ABS) today announced that Professor Dr Colyn Gardner will retire from ABS at the end of the year. ABS began operations in 2015 and Professor Gardner was appointed as its first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on 1 July 2015 after a tenure of 9.5 years when he steps down on 31 December 2024.
The process to identify a new ABS CEO has commenced and is underway, led by the Executive Committee of the Board. A robust review and assessment of all possible candidates will be carried out to identify a suitable replacement for Professor Gardner. The new appointee will be announced in due time.
