Overview

This course provides basic introduction of the carbon market.
As more countries are supporting the UN effort in achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 and net zero by 2050, it is important to understand its implication to the government, banks, PLCs and SMEs. Businesses need to be prepared to have a strategy to integrate with and to comply with national decarbonization blueprint. Ultimately, it affects product competitiveness, shareholders’ interests, operational costs and corporate taxation.
